Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, creates an account or submits an entry to the Global Sustainability & Innovation Awards (the "Awards"). The Awards are organised by EverythingAboutWater through Earth Water Foundation ("we", "us"), Plot No. 03, Sector 33, Gurugram, Haryana 122001, India. By creating an account or paying an entry fee, you accept these terms.

1. Who can enter

Organisations and individuals that meet the eligibility rules published for each category on this website. The person submitting an entry confirms that they are authorised to do so on behalf of the organisation named in it.

2. Your entry

  • Everything you submit must be true, accurate and your own work, or work you are authorised to present.
  • We may ask for supporting documents at any stage. If they are not provided within 7 days, the entry may be withdrawn.
  • A false declaration leads to disqualification from all categories, no refund, and withdrawal of any award already presented.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.

3. Fees and payment

  • Entry fees are shown on the Fees & timeline page and in your applicant portal. GST is charged extra.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments. We do not see or store your card, UPI or net-banking details.
  • An entry is sent for evaluation only after its fee is paid in full. Government departments and municipal bodies enter free.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Judging

  • Entries are screened for eligibility, then scored by an independent jury against six published criteria. Each entry is scored by at least three jurors.
  • Jurors do not see payment information. Payment of a fee, sponsorship or advertising has no effect on results.
  • A category is awarded only when at least three eligible entries compete. Otherwise it may be merged with a related category or not awarded.
  • The jury's decisions are final. We do not enter into correspondence about scores, though short written feedback may be shared on request after results.

5. Confidentiality and publicity

  • Entry content and documents are seen only by the awards team and the jury, who are bound by confidentiality.
  • Plant data and other figures marked confidential are never published without your written consent.
  • By entering, you allow us to publish your organisation's name, logo, category and a short summary of your entry if you are a finalist or winner, in awards publicity and on EverythingAboutWater platforms.
  • Winners may use the official 2027 winner mark only for the category and year won, and only in the form we supply.

6. Changes and cancellation

We may change dates, venues or categories where necessary, and will announce any change on this website and by email. If the Awards are cancelled or postponed, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

7. Use of this website

You may not misuse this website, upload harmful files, try to access other users' data or interfere with its operation. Content on this website belongs to Earth Water Foundation unless stated otherwise.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to the Awards is limited to the entry fee you paid for the entry concerned. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.
