Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when entry fees for the Global Sustainability & Innovation Awards are refunded. The entry fee pays for screening and independent jury evaluation of your entry. It does not buy a result, and it is not refunded because an entry does not win.

1. When you get a full refund

• Category merged or not awarded. A category is awarded only when at least three eligible entries compete. If your category falls short, we will tell you by 10 March 2027 and offer to move your entry to the closest related category. If you prefer not to move, you get a full refund of the entry fee.
• Duplicate or failed payment. If you were charged twice for the same entry, or your account was debited but no payment was recorded against your entry, the extra or unrecorded amount is refunded in full.
• Awards cancelled. If the organisers cancel the 2027 edition entirely, all entry fees are refunded in full. If the Awards Night is only postponed, entries and fees carry over to the new date. If you do not wish to continue, you may ask for a full refund within 15 days of the postponement notice.

2. Withdrawing your entry

• Before entries close (28 February 2027): you may withdraw a paid entry by writing to us. We refund the fee less the payment gateway charges actually incurred.
• After entries close: screening and jury work have begun, so the fee is not refundable.

3. Wrong fee band

Fees depend on the type and size of the entrant. If documents show you belong in a lower band, the difference is refunded. If you belong in a higher band, the difference is invoiced before your entry goes to the jury.

4. When no refund is given

• The entry did not win or was not shortlisted.
• Missing documents were not provided within 7 days of our request, and the entry was withdrawn.
• The entry was disqualified for a false declaration or for breaking the Terms & Conditions.
• Early-bird or multi-entry discounts already applied are not paid out separately.

5. How to request a refund

Email enquiry@eawater.com with your entry reference number, the payment reference and the reason. We reply within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days to the original payment method. Your bank may take a further 5 to 7 working days to show the credit. Refunds are made only to the account that paid.

6. Taxes

GST charged on a refunded fee is refunded with it, or adjusted through a credit note, as the GST rules allow.
